Avocado Sushi Rolls

I love sushi! Eating vegan definitely doesn’t mean you need to give up amazing sushi. I used to love going and getting sushi but discovered just how quick and easy it is to make at home. Now I make this all the time because it satisfies my craving, it’s easy to digest and it’s so delicious.
You can adjust this recipe by adding other veggies besides avocado like cucumber, carrots, peppers or mangos. Have fun and get rolling!

New Video! My Lunch with David + Sunrise Morning Routine!

Posted on by Jessica Remmers in Health, News | Leave a comment

I have been meaning to get this video out for a few weeks now and I’m excited to share with you my lunch with Kundalini yoga teacher and fellow gluten-free vegan David Piazza!! He has been inspiring me with his transformational morning routine which is all about getting in at least one hour of mediation (which can be anything from prayer to arts and crafts) and then 2 hours of personal creative work all before the sunrises!! He starts his day off at 3:30 am and by the time most people are “off to work” he has already accomplished so much!

Watch more about his routine in my latest video below which includes delicious vegan food from Cafe Gratitude and Carrot Cake!

Love!

New Video: Healthy Mindset and Music

Posted on by Jessica Remmers in Health, News | Leave a comment

I talk a lot about food and nutrition, but the most important thing to our health is a positive mindset and how we deal with hard times. Someone can seem perfectly “healthy” on the outside, taking good care of themselves, eating healthy and working out, but if we don’t spend even more time on maintaining a positive and grateful mind, dis-ease can creep in. Art and music is one way we deal with a hard situation to connect to the beauty and humanity we all share. I found a “perfect” song a few weeks ago that really helped me and I share the story in my latest video. I want to know which songs/movies/art helps you??

Day 27: Thanksgiving Dinner #27DaysOfThanks

Posted on by Jessica Remmers in Health | Leave a comment

Day 27: Thanksgiving Dinner

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful day!
Last Thanksgiving I remember not feeling too hot after I ate…this was before I was completely vegan and gluten-free. I’m feeling so much better this year because everything was made from scratch, completely plant based, gluten-free & refined sugar-free…right down to the homemade pumpkin pie (which I will post soon). This was the first time I cooked everything for the family and it was awesome…although I’m pretty tired…;)
I will post a detailed blog with everything I made this year, by the end of the weekend. Mostly everything was from other sites, and it all turned out delicious! #27DaysOfThanks for family and healthy cruelty-free food! Love to all!! ♥
